Housing Service Volunteers

The Aberdeen Tenants & Residents Partnership is about giving you real opportunities to contribute to and influence all decisions relating to homes and your living conditions.

Contribute to the housing service reviews and give tenant and resident recommendations. Speak directly with council officers, have input of how we can improve the housing services with Aberdeen City Council. Work with other social landlords with our partner organisation NETRALT (North East Tenants Residents And Landlords Together). Promote the work of group at local events around the city.

You can get involved in a number of ways, such as reviewing council services, attending events and conferences, and meeting with senior officers. And the best part, you can be involved with as much or as little as you like. We have a diverse group of tenants and residents who work well together and welcome all new people to join.

We offer a number of groups you can be part of.

  • Tenants And Residents Forum
This group is open to all tenants and residents across Aberdeen.

  • Housing Service Review Group
We review council services such as repairs, asset management and tenant participation.

  • Communications Group
We work on improving publications and letters for Aberdeen City Council

  • Housing Performance & Budget Group

  • Aberdeen Sheltered & Amenity Housing Group

We are also part of NETRALT (North East Tenants Residents And Landlords Together). And work together to share good practice and offer a range of training opportunities.

A great opportunity to get involved and make a real difference. All volunteer help is greatly appreciated.
