Website Lead Volunteer

Aberdeen Climate Action (ACA) is seeking a lead volunteer to look after our website. This crucial role is responsible for general website maintenance, for example ensuring plugs are working effectively and uploading resources and blogs to the site. Updating information on upcoming events such as climate cafes and beach clean-ups. Part of this role also involves checking for messages and forwarding them to the relevant volunteers.

As a lead volunteer, you will attend monthly team lead meetings to report on the website.

ACA is a volunteer led organisation, which focuses on educating and prompting action on climate change in the North East of Scotland.

You’ll be working alongside a diverse collection of individuals; from students to retirees; lawyers to oil and gas professionals; local Aberdonians to peoples from across the globe.

ACA wants to offer you an interesting and valuable opportunity that can help bolster your CV, develop or gain skills; make new friends; or just do your part to help the environment. No matter what, your time and the work you do helps ACA complete its valuable work in the North East.

For more information or any queries, please email our volunteer support team: recruit@aberdeenclimateaction.org

Travel details

ACA is an Aberdeen based group but has members who join in from afar using video call software. Please be aware that some face-to-face meetings may take place in Aberdeen.
