Treasurer

The Treasurer for GMCP has oversight of all GMCP spending. Our book=keeper produces a variety of reports relating to aspects of our charity.
The Treasurer allocates funds, restricted and unrestricted, identifying where money comes from and what it is being spent on. The Treasurer keeps track of profit/loss and has oversight of all finance. For AGM, the Treasurer decides on which bills to prioritise (strategic bill paying) and keeps money aside for e.g. VAT, insurance, utilities. The Treasurer deals with day to day business. AGM could also have a finance director handling day to day finances, the Treasurer having oversight, but not paying every invoice.
The Treasurer can provide advice and support to other Trustees preparing grant applications.
