Marketing Coordinator - South Ayrshire

We are building a brand-new South Ayrshire team to bring the talking newspaper to blind, visually impaired and print-impaired people - and those with mobility issues - right across South Ayrshire. Each weekly edition must be recorded, edited and posted via freepost on the same day the local newspaper is released (e.g. every Wednesday), so our listeners get their news at the same time as everyone else.
Purpose of the role
Many people across South Ayrshire who could benefit from our free service simply don't know we exist. The Marketing Coordinator raises our profile locally — online, in print and in the community — so more listeners, volunteers and supporters find their way to us.
What you'll do
• Promote ARSB across South Ayrshire on social media and through www.arsb.org.uk.
• Build relationships with the local press and community radio.
• Create posters, leaflets and promotional materials in our navy-and-gold branding.
• Promote listener sign-up, volunteer recruitment and the No Filter podcast locally.
What We Offer Our Volunteers
• A warm welcome and a full induction to the charity and your role.
• Training and ongoing support
How to Apply
Applying couldn't be simpler — there's no formal application form. Just get in touch and tell us a little about yourself, which area you're in (East, South or North Ayrshire), and which role (or roles) interest you. We'll invite you along for an informal chat, with no obligation on either side.
